The leaves have finally dropped from the trees in our garden, I have to say this year they fell a lot later than usual and we had some magnificent colors because of this. Like the leaves, some of our products are about to go away, one of them is the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set – so I thought I would give it one more outing, with a simple but very impressive coloring technique. (Gosh – I sound a little poetic today!)

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Crushed Curry Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1:5 1/4 x 4 Crumb Cake Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Leaf Fall Embossing Folder
• Layer 2: 3 x 2 1/2 Very Vanilla Card
• Ink Color: Cajun Craze and Mango Melody

I stamped the leaves by inking up my stamp by placing the whole stamp in the Mango Melody ink pad then using a sponge dauber with some Cajun Craze ink gently dabbed it around the edge of the leaves and seed pods before applying to my card ~ such a lovely effect and exactly the colors of trees in my garden!

I wound a length of Linen Tread around it before attaching to the card with Stampin Dimensionals and adding a couple Brushed Metallic Dots to finish off. I think that this would even make a great card for the fellas in our lives!
