Welcome to my Corner of the World
Sometimes we need to send a card to lift someone’s spirits, to just let them know that someone is thinking of them. ‘Hang in There’ is just the perfect thing to say to give them a little lift. Today’s card features the Perfectly Penciled Decorative Paper pairing it with Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate to make a card that will work for male or female.
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Daffodil Delight Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 1 Smoky Slate Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with Stripes and Splatters Embossing Folder
- Layer 2: 5 1/2 x 3 Perfectly Penciled Decorative Paper
- Layer 3: 5 1/4 x 1/4 Silver Foil Specialty Paper Pack
- Ink Color: Memento Tuxedo Black
The 3 pieces of card are attached with Liquid Adhesive, using the thin strip of silver foil to cover the gap between the Smoky Slate card and decorative paper.
It is a while since I last used the Essential Tag Punch, so I pulled it out for my greeting and backing layer which are attached with a couple of Stampin Dimensionals with a Classic Matte Dot to make it look as if it is ‘pinned’ to the card. I think you will agree this is a very quick and easy card to make and a joy to receive 🙂
