Of all the decorative paper packs in the 2022 – 2023 Annual Catalog Texture Chic has been my absolute favorite – I lost count of how many packs I bought as I used it in a lot of classes! It is about to retire so I wanted to share one of the designs before the end of April. Pale Papaya is also about to retire from the in-color family so I am giving that a final showing as well.
- Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Merry Merlot Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 2 Texture Chic Decorative paper
- Layer 2: 5 1/4 x 3/4 Very Vanilla Card
- Banner: 4 1/4 x 1 1/2 Very Vanilla Card
- Ink Color: Pale Papaya and Merry Merlot
The Decorative Borders Stamp Set has such pretty floral images which I have used as a background on the banner, as the set does not have any greetings I pulled out my trusty, favorite Go To Greetings Stamp Set to add the Thank you. Using velvet ribbon on cards can be a little bulky if you tie a bow or a knot, so I simply cut a length of about 3 1/2 inches and attached it with 3 Mini Glue Dots ~ which adds an extra level of richness to the card.
As I have said on many occasions, the card design could work for any occasion – just change out the greeting – there are plenty to choose from in this set!
