I don’t usually make big cards, partly because of the extra postage we have to pay here in the US. So I have always stuck to making them with 1/2 sheet of 11 x 8 1/2 card with the finished card size of 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. Then I received a card from a friend – it was bigger than 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 but still had the regular first class stamp. So I did a little research and found that I could send a max size of 7 x 5 for the same first class stamp – so today’s card is just that size!!
- Base Card: 10 x 7 Blackberry Bliss Card ~ scored @5″
- Layer 1: 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 Very Vanilla Card
- Layer 2: 6 x2 Mossy Meadow Card
- Ink Color: Blackberry Bliss
The Around the Bend Stamp Set and Dies were used to create the card, the Die Set contains the dies to cut the curves as well as the flowers and leaves. You will need some scraps of Fresh Freesia, Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss and Distressed Gold Specialty Paper to get the same effect as my sample.
