Once again I am thrilled to be taking part in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop, we are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!
You will have either arrived from Lorraine’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . This month our theme is a Sketch Challenge where we are provided with an outline of a layout where we can choose how to interpret it in our own style.

Here is the sketch for inspiration

Here is my take
Card Base: 11 x 4 1/4 Azure Afternoon Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
Layer 1: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 Basic White Card ~ cut with Scalloped Contours Dies
Layer 2: 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 Azure Afternoon Card ~ cut with Scalloped Contours Dies
Layer 3: 2 3/4 x 1 1/2 Basic White Card
Ink Color: Azure Afternoon
I chose to use one of the new colors Stampin’ UP! introduced as part of their 35th anniversary celebration – Azure Afternoon – this is the first time I have used it and I really like this new bright blue!
I chose the Inked and Tile Stamp Set – as soon as I saw the horizontal stripes on the sketch I knew there was a stamp in this set that would give me that very effect.
My panels are cut with the Scalloped Contours Dies which I had in my stash and the new Timeless Arrangement Dies for my leaves. A little scattering of the new Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems to finish off.
Thank you for stopping by – I hope you like today’s project – please let me know in a comment ~ by using that little link at the bottom of this post.

Oh how clever to use this scratchy stamp to make the stripy part of the sketch! Love the tone on tone look!

What a great interpretation of the sketch. I love how you used the stems to make the horizontal lines! Such a pretty card!
