Welcome to my Corner of the World
We are just short of a week away from Thanksgiving – it came as a bit of a shock I can tell you ~ where did November go? (they have also started playing non-stop Christmas music on the radio…. but that is another story)
Today’s card features the Earthen Textures Stamp set and it is a very quick card to make and features a very simple but effective technique – masking
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Very Vanilla Thick Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Pretty Peacock Card
- Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Very Vanilla Card
- Ink Color: Pretty Peacock and Copper Clay
I started out by stamping the 3 pots at different levels then laid a piece of Masking Paper along the top edge of each pot in turn then stamped the ferns…. thats it, like I said very quick !
The greeting is stamped on a 1/2 wide piece of Very Vanilla, trimmed with Paper Snips then attached with a couple of Mini Dimensionals. A little scattering of Neutrals Adhesive Sequins for a little subtle bling.
I hope you enjoyed the card and technique I shared with you today, I love what I do and spend many hours working on designs, new projects, new ideas and much more.
