I hope you had a good Christmas, and now it is behind us we have the New Year to look forward to. Come January 4th we will have a lovely new mini catalog released with super duper products for Valentine, Easter, Mothers Day and Fathers Day, along with lots of other themes.
Today’s card gives you a preview of one of the new stamp set and punch bundles ~ you knew I would go for the punches first…… they are almost always my favorite. It will also be the start of Sale-a-bration and I will be sharing more about that a little nearer the time so watch this space 🙂
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Lemon Lolly Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Basic White Card ~ run thru the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder
- Ink Color: Granny Apple Green
I used the new Heartfelt Hexagon Stamp Set with the coordinating Heartfelt Hexagon Punch . Before embossing the Basic White card I stamped the little leafy images so they would appear to peek out from under the greeting, this way the ‘messy’ stalks are hidden away.
After stamping and cutting my greeting I punched another label shape from a scrap of Lemon Lolly Card, cut it in half lengthwise and attached it to the back of my greeting so that a little showed top and bottom. I love this greeting – it could work not only for birthday but for an anniversary, as a get well card or just because!
A little twist of Lemon Lolly 3/8 Sheer Ribbon which has a dainty silver thread running thru it gave me just a little bit of my signature bling.
