2024 Flip Over Desk Calendar ~ February

Welcome to my Corner of the World

For the last 4 – 5 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who come to my classes.  As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2023, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2026 ……….. already!

Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .

So today I share, Valentine Hearts – just in time for creating those Valentine projects!

  • Base Card: 5 1/2 x 4 Sweet Sorbet Card
  • Calendar Layer : 5 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card
  • Ink Color:Sweet Sorbet & Coastal Cabana

The stamp set is Country Bouquet which has some heart shaped floral stamps as well as these more traditional hearts. There is also the Country Bouquet Punch which makes cutting out those hearts a snap ………… literally!! Of course I could not resist adding a couple of Rhinestone Jewels for the bit of bling!

All these products are available in my online store (see links below) but as I work thru the year some of the products used might have retired, however you may have them in your stash or find a suitable alternative, either way enjoy 🙂

The calendar part is made using the Days to Remember Stamp Set ~ which is cleverly designed to cover all the months of the year. I have a video on how I used it to create my calendar. Check out how I did this

  • Card Base: 11 x 4 1/4 Sweet Sorbet Card ~ scored @ 2 3/4 & 5 1/2
  • 1st Layer : 4 x 2 1/2 Basic White Card ~ run thru the Cut & Emboss Machine with the new Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder
  • 2nd Layer: 3 5/8 x 2 7/8 Coastal Cabana Card
  • 3rd Layer : 3 3/8 x 2 5/8 Basic White Card
  • Ink Color: Sweet Sorbet & Coastal Cabana

I chose to do a lazy Z fold to feature the heart panel from the calendar and a Coastal Cabana layer to give it a bit more of a pop, other than that it is the same as the calendar!!
