A new annual catalog is on the horizon and that means some new colors and products to play with. But is also means we will be bidding farewell to the five 2022 – 2024 In-colors. I have enjoyed this bright and vibrant collection of colors, so over the coming few weeks I will be sharing cards made with these as a fond farewell. Check out a card I shared the other day
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Starry Sky Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Tahitian Tide Card
- Layer 2: 5 x 2 3/4 Starry Sky Card
- Ink Color: Versamark and White Embossing Powder
Heat Embossing is a particular favorite technique of mine ~ I just love the way a dull powder turns into a nice shiny finish when a little heat is added. Today I have used the Botanical Beauty Stamp – this is a big background stamp that covers a 1/4 sheet of card in one go!
After embossing and attaching the layer to Tahitian Tide card with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive I wound a length of the Starry Sky and Tahitian Tide 1/8 Metallic Ribbon before attaching it to the card base.
The leaves are cut using the Notes of Nature Dies which I attached with Mini Glue Dots. The greeting is from Go To Greetings Stamp Set (which is retiring at the end of this month 😦 ) cut with the Best Label Punch.
I have used a number of products that are retiring at the end of April, these tend to sell out very quickly so I would put your order in fast so as not to miss out!!
They are on the retiring list , so if you need ink refills to match your ink pads, Blends, designer paper or card stock do not wait! In my 14 years with Stampin’ UP! they have never discounted these items as many times they have a small supply and they run out of stock within hours of the list coming out.
