If you, like me, have difficulty with masculine cards I have one that will help you today. I think the simplest thing to start with is the colors, I chose the Thoughtful Journey decorative paper, picked out a couple of the more masculine colors then broke out the Grove Dies for the first time!

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Very Vanilla Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Wild Wheat Card ~ run thru Cut & Emboss Machine with Forever Plaid Embossing Folder
• Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/8 Thoughtful Journey Decorative Paper.
• Layer 3: 5 x 3 3/8 Mossy Meadow Card ~ cut with the Grove Dies
• Ink Color: Wild Wheat

This is not the first time I have focused on the Thoughtful Journey decorative paper pack, the scenes it has are just beautiful and when used with the Grove Dies, it just ‘pops’. I first cut the Mossy Meadow layer with the die, then trimmed it to fit my card, then cut a piece of the decorative paper to fit behind. To give it a little dimension I carefully added some Mini Dimensionals to the back, then cut and tucked a couple of deer behind the tree trunks.

My greeting is from the Unbounded Love Stamp Set, stamped on a scrap of Very Vanilla card then fussy cut with paper snips, I scattered a few Adhesive Backed Textured Dots as I thought they kinda fitted the ‘woodland’ masculine effect I was going for!
