Using Cut & Embossing Folder

Welcome to my Corner of the World

We are just coming to the end of exam season here in the UK and our eldest grand-daughter is in the final days of some key exams. She is a bright cookie but sometimes doubts her own abilities so when the exams started back in early May I made and sent her this card to let her know she was in our thoughts.

  • Base Card: 11 x 4 1/8 Basic White Thick Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
  • Layer 1: 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 Summer Splash Card
  • Layer 2: 5 1/4 x 4 Flirty Flamingo Card
  • Ink Color: Created on my printer selecting Hex Value #62C4B1

I am still working with limited supplies and my pretty inks are still packed up, but I was able to use my printer with the hex value for Summer Splash to create a very personalized message.

Supplies:

  • Card and Embellishments ~ Stampin’ UP!
  • Embossing Folder/Die ~ Xcut
  • Ribbon ~ from my stash!

Check out how I tie my bows

Check out the video to see how everything goes together

I hope you enjoyed the card and video I shared with you today, I love what I do and spend many hours working on designs, new projects, new ideas and much more. Don’t forget to be a subscriber on the blog by clicking the blue follow button on the top right and my You Tube Channel so that you get all the projects.

As I have now retired as a Stampin Up Demonstrator I will know longer be sharing links to the supplies, however there are lots of wonderful demonstrators around the world who would be glad to help you with finding them. 🙂

Please note that I am not endorsing any particular products nor am I being compensated for using them. I am sharing an idea and hope that you will be able to use products from your own stash to create a similar card 🙂

Your card for your granddaughter is adorable.  I went to Amazon and typed in “embossing folder/die” with no luck.  Perhaps SU will add this type of embossing folder in the future.Toni Jenkins
