Last week I shared some of the new Kits Collection Stampin’ UP! has introduced. The ones I shared then included supplies for cards using stamps and ink. Well if you are not into stamping but love to make and send a handmade card to family and friends, there are some options for you as well.

Stampin’ Up! has taken the guess work out of creativity and done the hard parts, and you get to do the fun stuff: craft! Each kit is all-inclusive and includes the predesigned projects, preprinted pieces, and even the adhesives you need to complete the projects.

I have a great fondness for the packs of Note Cards and Envelopes, they are available in Basic White and Very Vanilla and you get 20 for just $7. I like them because they are all cut to size and scored – ready to fold in half and decorate making for a quick and easy start to my card making.

I used the Basic White Note cards for today’s card, I made some to send to my lovely May customers who shopped for their SU goodies with me and also as a ‘make and take’ for my recent catalog launch. I wanted to use the card as a little showcase for a few of the new products and colors.

Pansy Stamps and Dies – hints and tips

One of the new stamp set and die bundles in the 2021 – 2022 Annual Catalog is the Pansy Patch Bundle. It has the most lifelike and beautiful pansies that can be stamped by themselves or cut with the dies or indeed to cut out the separate pieces and assemble a beautiful flower.

At first this bundle might seem a little complex but it really is not and the intention of this post with the video tutorial is to introduce them and give you some hints and tips on using them – and you will be creating beautiful cards with them in no time 🙂

I was asked about them the other day, how do they work? Well today’s post I am sharing how I add the ink, how I label and store them, as well as a few tips on how to use them……… and there is a video as pictures can work far better than simply words!

While we have had a very wet May here in North Texas, when the sun comes out it get hot very quickly. Today we have one of those sunny days, perfect for an ice cream cone which featured on my card today.

As I explained in my video, Stampin Blends have been available for a few years now, and although I have some of them I have not really explored them very much. When one of my lovely customers asked me a question on them I was unable to give her a good answer and made the decision I was going to teach myself how to use them!

Summer Sampler Home Decor Idea

Home decor is a particular favorite of mine to create. Once I have my theme, I usually start with some Designer Series Paper, then pull out ribbon, embellishments and card that will go with the papers, then I go to work.

I had a request from my ladies for seasonal 8 x 8 samplers they could display, so we started with summer and will continue with the Fall themed one in August. The starting point for me is the beautiful Hydrangea Hill DSP – which is still available for a few more days, so please get your order in now to avoid disappointment 🙂

2021 In-Color Sampler with Elegantly Said Stamp Set

It is just over 3 weeks since the new 2021 -2022 Stampin’ UP! Catalog was launched and the new ‘in-colors’ released. Each year Stampin’ UP! introduces 5 colors that are available to us for 2 years, they are very carefully selected to meet current trends and we get ink, card, paper, ribbon and embellishments to coordinate everything together.

I am really rather taken with this years choices and created today’s card to show all 5 colors, with a little of the ribbon and the in-color jewels, along with the Elegantly Said Stamp Set. I did not use a greeting – let the colors and images do all the work.
