Card Challenge and new Sale-a-bration goodies!!

Earlier this  month I shared Craft Project Central’s ‘Creating Pretty Cards #68, where one of the designers for February (Monika Davis) designed a card sketch as an inspiration and  challenge for card crafters to create and share their creations (CDC offers prizes for winners 🙂 )

At the time I did not share mine as I was saving it for the launch of some new Sale-a-bration exclusive product, available until March 31st with a $50 product order.

Happy Valentine’s Day

Approximately 150 million Valentine’s Day cards are exchanged annually, making Valentine’s Day the second most popular card-sending holiday after Christmas, here is one that I send out for today.

I guess I am a little late posting this today 🙂  but a least it is still Valentine’s Day !

Thank You – swaps

Sale-a-bration  started on  Jan 4th, one of the first FREE stamp sets on my list was ‘So Very Much’………… cos it says thank  you – one of my most favorite phrases! plus I just love the script and the sheer size of the greeting!

Last weekend I went to Michigan to a training conference and the organiser asked all attendees to bring ‘swaps’ , as always this time of year, time is very tight so it had to be a simple project but with plenty of impact.

Advent Calendar – Christmas Eve!

The final day for our calendar, it is hard to believe it is Christmas Eve,  I am going to spend the day listening to Christmas music on BBC Radio 2 and getting ready for tomorrow.  I sometimes think I enjoy Christmas Eve more than Christmas Day itself – there is more of a sense of magic and anticipation!

Back in October, when  my friend, Elly, from the UK and I designed the  advent calendar using a 24 cup mini muffin pan, we had a lot of fun deciding which square would go on each day but I knew we would have this square for today!

I hope you have enjoyed the countdown journey – I certainly enjoyed sharing with you ~ leave me a comment I would love to hear from you.

You will want to open each post, as there will be a little treat behind each one!  Some days it might be some virtual ‘candy’ or sweeties as we call them in the UK, other times it might be a card, 3D project or a video!

Advent Calendar – Countdown to Christmas ~ Day 23

When Elly, my friend from the UK, and I designed the advent calendar back in early October I wanted day 23 to show the warmth and coziness of creating a new home.   December 23rd is a special day in our family as it is our youngest son’s wedding anniversary – yep 2 days before Christmas – it was a magical day full of love and sparkle and Father Christmas (as he is known in the UK)  came to hand out the wedding favors!

Advent Calendar – Countdown to Christmas ~ Day 22

Day 22 of our Advent countdown – featuring the squares of an Advent Calendar my friend, Elly, from the UK and I designed during her visit in October using a 24 cup mini muffin pan. Throughout this month I have been sharing a square a day with a little description of how we made it.
