Talk about traditional! today’s card has it all…… Red, green and gold, poinsettias and holly leaves and berries then a fun, bookfold, double gate fancy fold on top -it looks very impressive but is quite a simple card to make.
Continue readingWhile I love the traditional red and green colors of Christmas, I sometimes like to pull a few different ones into cards – today I have gone with greens, a traditional Shaded Spruce and paired it with Parakeet Party, then added an easy funfold. To add a little seasonal festiveness I have used the pretty Wintry Embossing Folder and some gold ribbon!

Continue readingCheck out this cute lil’ guy – I just love his cheerful face and his gift ready for giving! I used the Penguin Place Stamp Set with the coordinating Penguin Builder Punch. While I have made this a Christmas Card there are lots of different greetings within the stamp set to use the same design for a birthday, thank you or friend card – very versatile.

Continue readingThe First Noel is probably my favorite Christmas Carol, the Happy Holly Days Stamp set has a greeting that simply says ‘NOEL’ so I have paired it with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder for today’s card.
This is an asymmetric card – the front is slightly shorter than the back – which allowed another of the greetings from the set to peep thru while the card is still closed.
