I used the Healing Hugs stamp set to create this ‘get well soon’ card in nice bold Night of Navy and Mango Melody colors. I think by simply changing out the greeting you could use this design for thank you, birthday or simply ‘just because’!
Continue readingI am sharing the card I made for my sister-in-law’s birthday last month. She is not into frilly and ‘frou frou’ but I still wanted to make something that is feminine, so flowers and scalloped edges seemed to be the way to go.
The Flowers for Every Season DSP is exactly that – it does have pretty flowers ~ I simply chose one of the sheets then selected two of the colors within it, which turned out to be Misty Moonlight and Flirty Flamingo.

The 2020 August ~ December Mini Catalog has some really cool halloween themed goodies which today’s card features. Not everyone is into halloween though, so I have also shared a card using the same products but with a birthday theme!
Continue readingI so love fancy/fun fold cards, even after nearly 10 years as a demonstrator I still am in awe on what you can do with a piece of card stock!! Center-Step cards have been around for a considerable while but I think it is always nice to dust it off and update it with new colors and products.
The Peony Garden Suite of products have been very popular since its release in June, I have used the 3D peony as the as my focal point and paired it with Daffodil Delight and Cinnamon Cider Card.
Continue readingToday I have a really lovely fun fold – it is so impressive but surprisingly easy to make, I have made a video tutorial to help you make one as well.
This fun fold is quite popular but most of the examples I found used 12 x 12 card and needed a custom envelope, which here in the US would have required additional postage – so I footled around to design one that uses a sheet of 11 x 8 1/2 and will fit into the regular 5 3/4 x 4 3/8 envelope!
Continue readingI do love a fun fold – today I have a fun fold with a different ‘angle’ in that the front panels are cut to form a sort of cascade. It has a wonderful impact and may seem a little complicated but with your Stampin Paper Trimmer and a well placed pencil mark to it super easy to create.
I have used Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set as I adore those wispy seed heads, along with one of the 2020 -2022 In Colors ~ Bumble Bee paired with Pacific Point.

Continue readingWhen I saw that Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon had been carried over to the Annual Catalog I was so thrilled, it is 1/4 wide, has sparkly bits in it and ties the most scrummy bows! As so often happens with me it was the starting point for today’s card.
I also used the Forever Fern Stamp Set again, this time with two shades of blue ( who said leaves had to be green?) This has the most wonderful variety of leaf images, so easy to build up a great design.
Shaker Cards are such a lot of fun, especially for children but I am sure an adult would enjoy one as well! It was our youngest granddaughters birthday last week so I thought a fun card would be just perfect, particularly as she will not be having a party with friends and extended family this year.
We later found out that she wanted an ‘elephant’ cake for her birthday – which her talented parents made for her – so the Birthday Bonanza DSP, with the cute animals, I used for her card turned out to be in the right theme!
The other day I shared a little treat holder thank you for my customers who shopped for their SU goodies with me during March and April. It was not practical for me to mail them to my on-line customera so today’s card is one I designed and sent to them.
It is an easy ‘Z’ fold and I used the lovely Poppy Moments Dies with the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper with Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Purple Posy for my color palette.
