Once it was in my hands though I had to put my thinking cap on to work out the best way to use it to line up all the curves! The line art in the Decorative Borders Stamp set is beautiful and as the set does not have any greetings it is easy to pair up with another set which has a variety of different greetings to make this into a ‘feel better soon’, thank you, retirement or even a birthday card. Today I have used the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set for my greeting.

I have gone to my favorite Go To Greetings Stamp Set for my message and chosen to use the thank you stamp however you could choose one of the other greetings to create a birthday, thinking of you or just a note ~ the card design will work for all of them.

Continue readingI don’t think to use white ink at all, so when I was seeking inspiration for a color combo for my recent card buffet my eye fell on the Whisper White Craft Ink Pad which I paired up with Night of Navy and the Uniquely Artistic Stamp Set – I just loved the sort of monochrome ‘smoky’ effect it gave especially with the outline stamps in the set.
