These are the cards we would prefer not to have to send, but they do offer such comfort to those who receive them. The line art in the Decorative Borders Stamp set is beautiful and as the set does not have any greetings it is easy to pair up with another set which has a variety of different greetings to make this into a ‘feel better soon’, thank you, retirement or even a birthday card. Today I have used the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set for my greeting.
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Basic White Thick Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 3 1/8 Highland Heather Card
- Layer 2: 5 1/4 x 3/4 Highland Heather Card
- Layer 3: 5 x 3 7/8 Basic White Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Painted Posies Embossing Folder
- Ink Color: Gorgeous Grape
This embossing folder has really deep relief giving such a beautiful embossed finish. Once embossed and attached to the Highland Heather layer I added a length of Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon before attaching it the card base with Stampin Dimensionals. The greeting is cut using the Label Me Fancy Punch and a Pastel Pearl added.
The thin panel on the left is simply stamped with the Decorative Borders Stamp as is the inside of the card to add a little interest.
