I love the combination of black and yellow, it is so bright and striking. Using the Color and Contour Stamp set allowed me to use Tuxedo Black ink for the outline of my flowers then Daffodil Delight to color in the petals.

The new Jan – June 2022 Mini catalog has the Butterflies and flowers Layering Decorative Masks – which are basically stencils. I give a quick overview of the 6 that are the pack in my video which focusses on the butterfly sheets. It was such fun to work with these and I am sure I will have some other samples to share with you over the coming weeks.

Continue readingI have used the Forever Fern Stamp Set such a lot – I love those leaves and there are some lovely greetings to go along with them. Today I have paired it with the Bloom Where You’re Planted Decorative Paper, which itself has lots of leafy designs that work well with the stamps.
The ‘to a friend that makes me smile’ greeting is just so lovely – it can work for a birthday, thinking of you, get well or just because card – it just covers a host of different occasions.

Continue readingThis is such a very easy fold to do – by simply cutting the front slightly shorter than the back it allowed me to use the vertical ‘Happy Birthday’ from the Celebrate with Flowers Stamp Set, so it would be visible with the card closed. I have paired Granny Apple Green with Poppy Parade ~ a very bright and fresh combination.

This year Stampin’ UP! introduced the Days to Remember Stamp Set which makes the whole process of stamping them ‘oh so very easy’ . Today I share a video on how I use this stamp set to create a calendar card and give you a sneak peak of my flip over calendar for 2022.

Continue readingI spend a lot of time looking thru the Stampin’ UP! Annual Catalog, and I look – I really do look and then suddenly something catches my eye I had not seen before……. ????? One of those ‘somethings’ is the Picture This Dies, tucked away on page 164 – thee are two dies in the set, one will cut circles and another that cuts rectangles to create interesting effects for your cards. Each of the circles and rectangles has a ‘stitched’ edge which gives it a beautiful finish.
Once the circles are cut it is really easy to attach a piece of decorative paper to the back and here is the result………….
