You have probably picked up over the years that I love punches! They are quick and easy to use – I used the Lady Bird Builder Punch to create the sweet little honey bee on today’s card.

While I am very fond of shabby chic/vintage style cards I don’t make them very often as I run out of ideas, however the ink sponging technique with a little water coloring is a great way to start. Read on to see the card and video on creating the honey bee.

• Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 So Saffron Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Very Vanilla Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Hive Embossing Folder
• Layer 2: Heart and Home Doilies
• Ink Color: Crumb Cake

My images and greeting are from the the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set, the greeting is cut using the smallest circle dies from the new Beautiful Shapes Dies -scroll on down for the supply list
