This is the second time I have joined in this challenge and the theme is Spring! I just love it when the trees start to pop their leaves and just before that their blossom. Today’s card was inspired by some decorative paper I found in a card crafting magazine I found in a drawer, it is full of blossom, the epitome of spring!!
I have turned to a 3D project today and created a cute little spring themed plaque. It is a great way to use up lots of scraps and to let your creative juices flow! The one I am sharing today was made from scratch while I filmed the video and features the Paper Floral Dies

I have enjoyed this bright and vibrant collection of colors, so over the coming few weeks I will be sharing cards made with these as a fond farewell. Today I have paired Sweet Sorbet with Starry Sky.

We are well into spring now so I have chosen to use Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz for my card colors today. The Around the Bend Stamp Set and coordinating Die set have flowers and leaves that look like daisies, which remind me of late spring when the grass is starting to grow along with the little daisies showing the dainty faces to the sun.

Continue readingOne of my grand-daughter’s is into dance and has been very successful in competitions. Just before Christmas we learned that she has been selected to compete on behalf of the UK in the World Dance Championships in Portugal this coming summer. As you can imagine we are beyond proud of her accomplishment and could not let it go without a card to tell her so!
She has just turned 10 so the Sweet Songbird Stamp Set with coordinating Songbird punch is just perfect for the job.
