One of my grand-daughter’s is into dance and has been very successful in competitions. Just before Christmas we learned that she has been selected to compete on behalf of the UK in the World Dance Championships in Portugal this coming summer. As you can imagine we are beyond proud of her accomplishment and could not let it go without a card to tell her so!

She has just turned 10 so the Sweet Songbird Stamp Set with coordinating Songbird punch is just perfect for the job.

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Highland Heather Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Pear Pizzazz Card
• Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Basic White Card
• Layer 3: 2 3/8 x 2 3/8 Pear Pizzazz Card
• Layer 4: 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 Highland Heather Card
• Layer 5: 2 1/8x 2 1/8 Basic White Card
• Ink Color: Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia, Crumb Cake and Pear Pizzazz

As usual I started by stamping the greeting before adding the branches, leaves and flowers. The little bird is attached with some Stampin Dimensionals then I added the little musical notes so it looked like they were coming out if the beak! I stamped Congratulations inside the card before adding our message. I think it turned out quite cute and I am sure our grand-daughter will make a very cute competitor come June!
