Continue readingI love to design my cards but there are times when I kinda draw a blank, either nothing comes to mind or too much comes to mind and I feel a bit overwhelmed. The Stampin’ UP! catalogs show us all the wonderful products available but did you know it is also a book of ideas? In fact when I first came across Stampin’ UP! in 2006 it was called an ‘Idea Book’ (and I still have that catalog in my stash!)
All that being said – I found today’s card tucked into those pages, I changed it a tiny bit (of course) but it is very close 🙂
Continue readingI love to share my love of papercrafting, partly thru my classes, blog and YouTube channel and when someone becomes a member of my demonstrator team. Last month there was a special joining offer and one of my ladies jumped at the chance. When someone does join my team I like to welcome them with a small handmade gift and card.
The Posted for You stamp set has the cutest of images and greetings, they allowed me to create a mini one sheet wonder to use as a focal point on both my card and gift and I had a piece left over to make a birthday card.
Continue readingI am sharing the card I made for my sister-in-law’s birthday last month. She is not into frilly and ‘frou frou’ but I still wanted to make something that is feminine, so flowers and scalloped edges seemed to be the way to go.
The Flowers for Every Season DSP is exactly that – it does have pretty flowers ~ I simply chose one of the sheets then selected two of the colors within it, which turned out to be Misty Moonlight and Flirty Flamingo.
Continue readingI so love fancy/fun fold cards, even after nearly 10 years as a demonstrator I still am in awe on what you can do with a piece of card stock!! Center-Step cards have been around for a considerable while but I think it is always nice to dust it off and update it with new colors and products.
The Peony Garden Suite of products have been very popular since its release in June, I have used the 3D peony as the as my focal point and paired it with Daffodil Delight and Cinnamon Cider Card.
Continue readingI have shared a number of cards using the Prized Peony Stamp set, today I share how great the images are for coloring with Stampin’ Blends and used the coordinating Peony Dies to cut my flowers and leaves as well as to add a very feminine scalloped edge to one of the layers.
The greetings in this stamp set cover sympathy, love and thanks, friendship and ‘thoughts’ ~ all very useful ones to have in your stash!
I think most of us remember where we were and what we were doing on this day 19 years ago. It changed lives and the world forever ~ they are in my thoughts today.

Continue readingI do love a fun fold – today I have a fun fold with a different ‘angle’ in that the front panels are cut to form a sort of cascade. It has a wonderful impact and may seem a little complicated but with your Stampin Paper Trimmer and a well placed pencil mark to it super easy to create.
I have used Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set as I adore those wispy seed heads, along with one of the 2020 -2022 In Colors ~ Bumble Bee paired with Pacific Point.
