During this last week I had a stamp camp where we made a covered notebook with pen and notecards. One of my ladies asked if she could come but did not want to make the covered notebook. She asked to borrow my Stampin Trimmer and worked with the supplies I had prepared for her. I was thrilled and delighted when she finished and shared with the results with the class.

Happy Birthday – dear sister
May 12th is my sister, Susie’s, birthday ~ she is 7 years younger than me and lives in the UK, so I don’t get to see too much of her. While I was always the one who followed the rules (some might say something of a fuddy duddy) she was the one who pushed the envelope and got away with it (mostly!) She is now the proud mother of 4 children and Nanna to 2 grandbabies – it amazes me that my baby sister is a grandmother!!!
Hello again …… Flower Shop by Stampin’ Up!
It is some time since I last used the Flower Shop Stamp Set ~ I was asked to make some cards and was browsing my stamp shelf for some inspiration and there is was, just perfect for the kind of card I wanted to make.
Painted Petals ……1 card…… 2 occasions……
In keeping with what is becoming a little bit of a series…….. using one card layout but showing that they can easily be used for different occasions by simply changing the sentiment. Stampin’ Up!’s wonderful variety of stamp sets makes it so easy!
Hello Darling…… again….
There is more to this stamp set than I thought! I chose to use it for my April Card Class and made a really unusual fold card which started with a piece of 12 x 12 card stock! The Hello Darling contains a variety of images which, at first, did not work together for me, but once I started ‘playing’ was able to produce a number of different designs.
Swallow Tail Butterfly Thank you
I probably make more thank you cards than for any other occasion and I usually make at least 2 of the same design ~ once you have out the inks and ribbon it is just as easy to do everything twice.
May Stamp Set of the Month
I set myself a challenge with this months stamp set and have chosen Lovely Amazing you for this months projects, it contains 3 images and 5 sentiments and I wanted to see how to use color, texture and embellishments to produce 4 very different cards.

Hello Darling……1 card…… 2 occasions……
I needed to make a ‘thank you’ card for a friend, well you have to cut a piece of 11 x 8 1/2 in 2 pieces to start the card and you already have your stamps, ink and embellishments out, so why not just make up both halves……..
Thank you Gift Set using Butterfly Basics
Those of you who know me or follow my blog, know that I work for H & R Block. We are busy people from Jan 1st thru April 15th and we rely a lot on the fantastic ladies who run our front desk, answering phones, greeting clients, taking payment, confirming appointments etc (often times one or more of these at the same time!)
I take a little time before ‘tax day’ to make a little thank you gift for them, I know they make my life a lot easier for all they do for me.
Virtual Pajama Party…….
One of the nice things about being part of the Stampin’ Up! family is having lots of Stampin’ sisters. A few weeks ago my Stampin’ Up! ‘grandmother’ organised a virtual pajama party thru Facebook. We all logged on at 7pm Central and shared ideas, posted projects we were working on etc. At the end Sharon asked us to post our addresses so that we could each send cards to one another as a sort of a swap.
