Continue readingI spent yesterday afternoon making mince pies – Christmas is just 12 days away. I have nearly everything done now, just need to get fresh veggies a little nearer the day! However I still do have a few more Christmas cards to send which is a little job for tomorrow or Wednesday.
This is one of the cards I designed for a recent Christmas Card Stamp Camp ~ I love the combination of Night of Navy, Basic White, silver embossing a little sparkle from the organdy ribbon.

Continue readingThis is such a very easy fold to do – by simply cutting the front slightly shorter than the back it allowed me to use the vertical ‘Happy Birthday’ from the Celebrate with Flowers Stamp Set, so it would be visible with the card closed. I have paired Granny Apple Green with Poppy Parade ~ a very bright and fresh combination.

Continue readingFor the last 5 or 6 years I have created a flip over calendar using various Stampin’ UP! products, however the calendar part always defeated me in trimming and lining everything up – so I would buy the calendar parts. This year Stampin’ UP! introduced the Days to Remember Stamp Set which makes the whole process of stamping them ‘oh so very easy’ . Today I share a video on how I use this stamp set to create a calendar card and give you a sneak peak of my flip over calendar for 2022.

Continue readingWell here we are – December 1st and the final page of the flip over calendar for 2021. If you are a regular follower of my blog you will know that in the early part of last December I had a class to create a flip over calendar, everyone loved it and made me promise we will do another for 2022 – well that class is scheduled for this coming Saturday and Tuesday – all the design is done and supplies are cut!.
I have loved sharing each page at the start of each month and am seriously thinking of doing the same for the 2022 calendar. So today I share, December with Christmas lights and a tree ornament – very festive!
