Welcome to the  Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop,  we are  group of international Stampin UP! demonstrators sharing our ideas and creativity with you.

You will have either arrived from Heike’s  post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME.  This month we have a choice of theme Halloween or Autumn  ~ I have chosen Halloween. As an expat Brit, it is a holiday that was not particularly popular when I left nearly 19 years ago, but it was the first holiday that we experienced when we arrived in October of 2001 and I soon learned how popular it is here in the States!!

Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice.

Now just look at this cute little dude!!! ~ yes, a Petal Pink raccoon perfect for a child’s birthday. Who says you can’t have a pink raccoon?

I made this for a little girls 1st birthday, I later cut out the number ‘1’ and attached it to the balloon – it really did look really cute when finished. The Special Someone Stamp Set will be available in tomorrow’s flash sale!

We are a few days away from the autumnal solstice so I don’t feel too bad about sharing my first Christmas themed card of the season. Poinsettias seem to be popular this year and when I saw the Poinsettia Petals Bundle in the 2020 August – December Mini I knew I was hooked as well.

I have chosen to go with Merry Merlot, Vanilla and Gold on my card and to complete the lusciousness tons of gold heat embossing!

Today I have a really lovely fun fold – it is so impressive but surprisingly easy to make, I have made a video tutorial to help you make one as well.

This fun fold is quite popular but most of the examples I found used 12 x 12 card and needed a custom envelope, which here in the US would have required additional postage – so I footled around to design one that uses a sheet of 11 x 8 1/2 and will fit into the regular 5 3/4 x 4 3/8 envelope!

Here we go with another of my ‘scrap’ cards ~ made with some left over pieces of Tis the Season designer series paper from another project. I cannot bear to waste these pieces and if I set them aside for ‘later’ they just accumulate – so I have got into the habit of using them straightaway!

I have used Christmas themed products from the 2020 August – December mini catalog to create a birthday card, it would be perfect for anytime but especially if you need a December birthday card!

Prized Peonies with Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers

I have shared a number of cards using the Prized Peony Stamp set, today I share how great the images are for coloring with Stampin’ Blends and used the coordinating Peony Dies to cut my flowers and leaves as well as to add a very feminine scalloped edge to one of the layers.

The greetings in this stamp set cover sympathy, love and thanks, friendship and ‘thoughts’ ~ all very useful ones to have in your stash!
