Today’s inspirational card shares a couple of techniques and introduces the new Blending Brushes from Stampin’ UP!. I chose to use the Enjoy the Moment Stamp Set which has a great selection of plant type images as well as some useful greetings.
This card has two great and easy stamping techniques – tone-on-tone stampin’ and emboss resist, I have made a video to show how to combine them in one card!

I have used the Very Versailles Stamp Set such a lot, I really love the stamp with trailing leaves, it is so graceful and dainty and fills a lot of space on the card at the same time!
Continue readingToday’s card features the Queen Anne’s Lace Stamp Set, this has some very dainty flowery images and 6 great greetings in a lovely script – those who follow me know that I do love nice lettering :-). I chose to use the ‘Hello Friend’ one for this card as I think that this kind of card can be used for practically any occasion – wouldn’t it be lovely to open an envelope and find a simple and pretty hello inside!
Once again my color choices were decided by my ribbon drawer, I wanted to use the elegant Vanilla Metallic Edged ribbon, so then chose Vanilla for my card with Cinnamon Cider and Petal Pink to coordinate.

Continue readingI made this card earlier this year, I just love this little guy and chose colors I thought would appeal to the littlies in our lives. It uses a two-step stampin’ technique and to ensure I lined everything up properly I used my Stamparatus.
I think if you change out the greeting it would make a fantastic new baby card or even an anniversary card – the possibilities are endless.
Continue readingI recently learned that here, in the US, hedgehogs are kept as pets, who knew? Back in my native UK they live in the wild, visit gardens at night, eat the slugs and snails then curl up and sleep thru the winter!
I have broken out my water-colouring pencils again today, for the cutest little guy EVER, using the Walk in the Woods stamp set to create this thank you card, but as always – change out the greeting and it will make the perfect birthday or thinking of you card.

I am sure that there are many of us who know someone who has not been in the best of health, either thru the current health crisis or other issues, so having some Get Well Cards on hand is very useful.
The Healing Hugs stamp set is perfectly named and perfect for making todays’ card. I chose Magenta Madness paired with some Smoky Slate and Silver Foil for this little splash of cheerfulness.
Continue readingToday is Christmas Eve – as my great- niece would be telling her Daddy today ‘ one more sleep until Father Christmas gets here’. I am spending my day with final preparation for tomorrow’s lunch and then settling down in front of the fire to watch some Christmas movies!
They say that less is more ~ not entirely sure I agree with that when it comes to card making but today I used a ready made card base from the Gold Cards and Envelopes Pack. It is Very Vanilla and has gold foil decoration on it, so that was my color choices decided, then a little dash of red to finish off! And, you know it was surprisingly quick to create all of the 10 cards that were in the pack!
