The card also features the ‘soon to be retired’ color, Pretty Peacock, which has been one of my favorites over the last 2 years – now is the time to order this before it goes away!
Continue readingI always remember my grandmother having hydrangea bushes in her front garden with huge flower heads, I loved them then and love them still. When I came to live in North Texas I planted some in my front garden, although they grew they never really thrived and I never got the big flower heads I remember as a child.
The Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper gives me all the beautiful hydrangea’s I want and I have used it on today’s card. DSP is one of the first things I look at when a new catalog comes out – and I have to admit that over the years I have been a bit of a hoarder. A few years ago I made a promise to myself that I would use more!

Today’s card started out with a couple of 2 x 2 scraps of the True Love Designer Series Paper, I hate to waste scraps and they make a really great focal point!
Continue readingI have made no secret of the fact I just LOVE the Gilded Leafing Embellishment, I am on my second pot of it and this is the 4th technique I have shared with you to inspire you to purchase some and try it for yourself – it is fun to use and gives a fantastic finish that will just WOW whoever gets this card.
I have chosen to use the Oval Occasions Bundle for me greeting with the Oval Occasions Stamp Set and coordinating Double Oval Punch. If you scroll on down you will see 2 different color versions just to inspire you a little further 🙂
Continue readingTodays card uses the Art Gallery Stamp Set and the beautiful Gilded Leafing Embellishment to create this very pretty and feminine inspirational card. I just love the Gilded Leafing, I am on my second pot of it!
This is the third card and technique I have shared with you on using this embellishment and I still have a few more up my sleeve to share in the coming weeks so keep watch 🙂
Continue readingI just wanted to share this cute card I made for my great-nephew’s 10th birthday last month, I used the Darling Donkey’s Stamp Set from Sale-a-bration, sadly this set is no longer available but a great alternative would be the Zany Zebras Stamp Set.
I used the ‘tone-on-tone stampin’ technique for my background and broke out my watercolor pencils to color my cheeky lil’ donkey, he looks so cute just sitting there 🙂
