This is a very quick card to make – and I just love its simplicity, all the detail is in the decorative designer series paper and this time I have chosen to use the exclusive DSP from the Sale-a-bration catalog – which is FREE with a $50 order ~ that is until March 31st and then it will be gone for good!!!
The first share is now ready to go to their new homes! This is the perfect way to get your hands on a little of all the DSP’s from the new 2016 Occasions catalog, without breaking the bank!
Over the next few days I will share some cards made using the DSP – it is there to be used ~ not hoarded!!!!!!

A dear friend, and a member of my Stampin’ Up! team is about to become a grandmother! She held a shower for the mother-to-be a couple of weeks ago and I was fortunate to be invited.
The baby’s colors and his nursery are in gray and yellow with chevrons and elephants ~ perfect subject for some punch art! I love to do punch art and it is a while since I shared any.
I am so excited to be bringing you my virtual class for March 2016. I have 4 lovely cards for you this month using the Going Global Stamp set. The guys have been a little overlooked in recent on line classes so here is a special group just for them!
Happy Leap Year Day ~ We don’t get the chance to say that very often! I know a couple of people born on February 29th – it is nice to be able to wish them a happy birthday on the actual day.
I shared a card the other day using the ‘What I Love’ exclusive Sale-a-bration stamp set. That card used lovely subtle shades – the card I have to share to day uses the big bold Melon Mambo and Tuxedo Black!!!

From time to time I am asked to make a card for a particular occasion – I love to do commissions! I ask a few questions about the recipient….. color preferences, ornate, lots of bling, gender etc and then I start to put it all together.
This is a recent commission – I have done this style before and it starts with a piece of cardstock 12 x 12 and thru scoring and folding its finished size in 6 x 6.
I have included the link to the original video at the bottom of the post…. enjoy!
I love to make home decor pieces out of paper, card, ribbon, buttons and anything else I can find in my stash! The Love Blossoms Embellishment kit in the Occasions catalog contains lots of different pieces that were perfect for the final Valentine project I am sharing with you today.

Every so often my Stampin’ Up! grandma organizes an event for her team to join in, back in January she organized a card swap using products from the Occasions catalog.
Each person had to design and make a card for each person ~ there were 15 this time, we send them to her she sorts them and sends them back and we all get 15 different cards in return. This is one of the lovely things about being part of the SU family!.
