OK……. So October has arrived! Every month I express my surprise that another one has come around so soon! I am going to start the month the same way it will end ~ with Halloween!
The 2020 August ~ December Mini Catalog has some really cool halloween themed goodies which today’s card features. Not everyone is into halloween though, so I have also shared a card using the same products but with a birthday theme!
Continue readingI so love fancy/fun fold cards, even after nearly 10 years as a demonstrator I still am in awe on what you can do with a piece of card stock!! Center-Step cards have been around for a considerable while but I think it is always nice to dust it off and update it with new colors and products.
The Peony Garden Suite of products have been very popular since its release in June, I have used the 3D peony as the as my focal point and paired it with Daffodil Delight and Cinnamon Cider Card.

As an expat Brit, it is a holiday that was not particularly popular when I left nearly 19 years ago, but it was the first holiday that we experienced when we arrived in October of 2001 and I soon learned how popular it is here in the States!!
Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice.

Continue readingWe are a few days away from the autumnal solstice so I don’t feel too bad about sharing my first Christmas themed card of the season. Poinsettias seem to be popular this year and when I saw the Poinsettia Petals Bundle in the 2020 August – December Mini I knew I was hooked as well.
I have chosen to go with Merry Merlot, Vanilla and Gold on my card and to complete the lusciousness tons of gold heat embossing!
Continue readingToday I have a really lovely fun fold – it is so impressive but surprisingly easy to make, I have made a video tutorial to help you make one as well.
This fun fold is quite popular but most of the examples I found used 12 x 12 card and needed a custom envelope, which here in the US would have required additional postage – so I footled around to design one that uses a sheet of 11 x 8 1/2 and will fit into the regular 5 3/4 x 4 3/8 envelope!
