2023 Flip Over Desk Calendar ~ April

Welcome to my Corner of the World

Once again I enjoyed designing and making my flip over calendar for 2023, with the help of my friend, Elly – while she was visiting from the UK in October. As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2022, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2024

I am changing things a little for this year, I recognise not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .

So today I share, Easter Daffodils – which are usually flowering around Easter time in my home country.

Unusual Daffodils ~ Thank you card idea

Last week I shared my technique for creating daffodils with the Daffodil Dies. As I explained in my video at the time I chose to use some ‘off the wall’ colors for my demo so that it would be easier for you to see how the different pieces went together.

As you know – I hate waste – and seeing those two ‘wild’ looking daffodils sitting on my work bench troubled me! so I pulled out some Basic Black card, did a touch of heat embossing and attached them to create this thank you card.

Lets build a Daffodil – Slimline Card

Daffodils are one of the first things that start to appear above ground after the long winter months, they are so bright and cheerful. So imagine my delight when the Jan – June mini catalog, and now the new 2022 – 2023 Annual catalog has the Daffodil Daydream and coordinating Daffodil Dies so we can use them in our card crafting throughout the year.

Daffodil Afternoon Decorated Notebook

Welcome to my Corner of the World

I have shared ideas for decorating plain notepads in the past, today I have one with an integral pen holder! I have featured the Daffodil Afternoon decorative paper, which is available until midnight today (Feb 28th) as a free Sale-a-bration item. I chose some of the colors from this pretty paper for the card bases of the notebook as well as the ribbon decoration.
