Stamparatus – How to stamp words – video tutorial

The Stamparatus is Stampin’ UP!’s latest tool  and an absolute must have for all stampers.  It helps you perfectly align your stamp images, stamp multiples of the same project quickly and accurately and gets complete ink coverage – ‘cos you can do a ‘do-over’ as my video today will show.

Today’s card uses the Stamparatus to set up the greeting straight and level.  I made about 30 of these cards as thank you’s for my lovely customers who shopped with me in June and I can tell you it made the job of  stamping the greetings very quick.

I have included a couple of video tutorials on this post ~ the first giving you a general intro to the Stamparatus and the second one on how to line up the text – using the red rubber stamps.

Artistically Asian Anniversary

Last week I shared an anniversary card and that I have a number of anniversaries this time of year, brother, niece and long time friend.  The Artistically Asian  stamp set has been in the catalog for a couple of years now but I have not used it as much as it deserves.  I also dipped into the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set for my greeting (if you don’t have this one consider adding it to your next order – it is a great one to have in your stash)

My card colors are Tranquil Tide and Coastal Cabana, I tripped over this combination when designing a card for my June Card Class and have used it again today.

Love What You Do Friend Card

I have used the Love What You Do stamp set and other products from the Share What you Love Suite of products an awful lot – it is just very versatile and has a wide range of colors within the DSP which means I get plenty of choices when designing a card.  ALSO – as a demonstrator I was able to get my hands on this suite way back in April – so it has given me plenty of time to play with it.  (If you are interested in becoming a demonstrator there is a great deal for joining Stampin’ UP! in July ……. click here if you would like to know more)

Happy July 4th………. 650th Blog Post

WOW – 650 blog posts since I first started back in July 2013 – so today is a double celebration!  In the early days my posts were few and far between – often times I could not think of what to share, but these days I try very hard to post every other day as well as share video tutorials thru my You Tube channel.

I appreciate you following me, liking my posts and more importantly making comments – it just lets me know that you are all out there and I am not just talking to myself, so please ‘comment ‘ and ‘ like ‘ away – I truly  appreciate your giving me some of your time!

Now – back to business…………….. I am not a great one for going onto  Pinterest – not that I don’t love the whole concept but I loose track of time and suddenly 2 or 3 hours have passed and I have little to show for it!!  So I ration myself ~ maybe for about 30 mins or so.

The Perks of Being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

Oh I do love being a demonstrator, where else could I spend time playing with paper, ink and stamps, enjoying a 20 – 25% discount on all my supplies and still be able to tell people I am going to work!  I have met folks, made friendships and visited places that always bring back happy memories and stay in my heart.  It also gives me a chance to get my hands on new Stampin’ UP! goodies ahead of the official launch.

When I was at OnStage at the begining of April, (our biannual conference) everyone got an advance  copy of the brand new Annual Catalog , which is now well thumbed,  and  we were able to purchase a selection of items early ahead of the June full release.  As a demo  I got to shop from the whole Share What You Love suite. And so could you, starting today!
