Welcome back to my corner of the world

I think I say this at the beginning of every month…… but can you believe it is March already?  Those of you who know me or have followed my blog know that I work for the largest retail tax preparation service in the USA.  This is my 18th year and as always this time of the year is pretty hectic, so doin’ a lil’ card crafting is an excellent way to de-stress and get my head out of the numbers and into some creativity.

Today’s card is one that I made some while ago, I just love the softness of the Very Versailles Stamp Set paired up with Soft Sea Foam and Sahara Sand with a tiny touch of Silver Foil.

Magnolia Lane Panel Card

Welcome back to my corner of the world

Petal Pink was one of the new colors Stampin’ UP! introduced in their 2018 color refresh ~ I have to admit that it did not appeal to me at the time and pretty much sat on the shelf – until Stampin’ UP! bought out an organdy ribbon in the 2019 -2020 Annual Catalog – that started my love affair with Petal Pink and I have used it very much – with and without the ribbon that inspired me!

Today’s card features the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper – I had some pieces left over from a project that I did not want to waste so I picked out the black and Petal Pink from the paper and the card came into being!

Super Feminine – Power of Hope Card

The Power of Hope Stamp Set is one of the sets available for FREE during Sale-a-bration, I used it for today’s ultra feminine card, this set has some very pretty images as well as some inspirational greetings that are perfect for that ‘just because’ card we might sent when we are thinking of someone who would just love to know we are thinking of them.

You will have either arrived from Heike’s  post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME.  This month we have a ‘Love ‘ theme ~  I was so very tempted  use red and hearts, but  I kinda went  in another direction with Early Expresso and  Blushing Bride!

Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice but also because they have the 12 x 12 Page Protectors and Albums.

Stampin’ UP! Project Kits – Cards to Me!

Today I am sharing two cards that were given to me – hand-made by the 5 year old grand-daughter of one of my wonderful customers.

Paige was given a Stampin’ UP! Project Kit for Christmas, the kits contain everything you need to create beautiful handmade cards, some have stamp sets, others have laser-cut stickers or washi tape to create your cards as well as adhesives in the All Inclusive Kits.

So maybe you will consider buying a kit for a young person in your life who loves to do ‘crafty’ things.  And thank you Paige for your creativity and for sending me two of your wonderful creations.

Peaceful Moments Thank You

Back in January I hosted a ‘product share’ for the new designer series papers (DSP) from the Stampin’ UP! 2020 Mini Catalog.  One of the papers is the Peaceful Poppies DSP which has lots of cheerful poppies in bright and happy colors.

Welcome to the Team – Thoughtful Blooms Card

A couple of weeks ago I had one of my lovely customers decide to join my team as a hobby demo – so she could take advantage of the discount when buying her goodies – I wanted to give her a personal thank you for making that decision and gave her a package of goodies along with a hand-made card!
