I love the combination of black and yellow, it is so bright and striking. Using the Color and Contour Stamp set allowed me to use Tuxedo Black ink for the outline of my flowers then Daffodil Delight to color in the petals.
Once again I am thrilled to be taking part in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!
You will have either arrived from Polly’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . We do not have a theme, but each of the talented artisans showcase what they are working on at this time each month. There will be techniques, fancy folds, 3D, new products and ideas – a veritable treasure chest for you to draw on every month.
At the moment Stampin’ UP! is in the last 3 weeks of Sale-a-bration where you can choose exclusive free products when you place a product order of at least $50. Today’s card features the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper and by using it to create this fun fold we can see both sides of the paper!
I have paired this with the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set and coordinating Strawberry Builder Punch, however there is not strawberry in sight – just to show you how versatile this bundle is…. oh and there is a video – so read on……………………..
Each time a new Stampin’ UP! catalog is issued I go thru it to see all the new goodies, each time I think I have seen everything that is available and then I start to discover things I missed! One of those is the focus of today’s card – tucked away on page 165 is a metal plate which really does not seem much – until you run it thru your Cut and Emboss Machine with a piece of card – and there it is ……. a beautiful, delicate pattern of little stitched leaves,
To bring the botanical theme thru I have embellished the card with a few flowers and greeting from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set and coordinating Flowers and Leaves Punch ( choose the bundle and save 10% – see the link below 🙂 )
In the past I have shared that I love Designer Series Paper (DSP), I have also admitted that I tend to be a bit of a hoarder, always thinking that I will have the perfect project for that ‘some day’ so would save it for another day! I am trying to mend my ways and have been using it more and more!
I shared a card on Wednesday which featured DSP and to prove I am reforming I have another to share today, featuring the ‘In Good Taste’ DSP ~ which has a variety of wood and tile effect prints that make perfect backgrounds as well as focal points.
Cajun Craze is a color I seem to forget until Autumn, but it is a great color for masculine cards, especially if you pair it with Sahara Sand and Early Expresso! If you are regular reader of my blog you will know that I struggle with guy themed card but it you have the right stamp set and the right colors they are a lot easier to make. 🙂
I shall be so sorry to see the Soar Confidently Stamp Set retire but it will be available until June 30th – so you can still add it to your order!
When the August – December 2020 Mini Catalog was released one of the first stamp sets I set my heart on was Joyful Holly – I just loved all the ‘curlicues’ which are so graceful and elegant. So understandably I have used it on quite of cards this year, including todays card.
This is quite a simple card, some paper, stamps, ink and a couple of punches, with a little bling of course, you cannot have a Christmas card without some sparkle, can you?
Today I am letting the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (DSP) do all the hard work on this masculine card. I have shared with you before that I do find it a challenge to make card for the fellas so this pack of paper with its huge variety of textured patterns is perfect for these
This is a quick and easy card, using my paper trimmer and a couple of punches, along with the Here’s A Card Stamp Set.

You will have either arrived from Mo’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . This month’s theme is to share what you are working on ~ I have been working with some of the new products from the Aug – Dec 2020 Mini Catalog and mixing them with some from the 2020 -2021 Annual Catalog and I have come up with a sepia peony theme.
I so love fancy/fun fold cards, even after nearly 10 years as a demonstrator I still am in awe on what you can do with a piece of card stock!! Center-Step cards have been around for a considerable while but I think it is always nice to dust it off and update it with new colors and products.
The Peony Garden Suite of products have been very popular since its release in June, I have used the 3D peony as the as my focal point and paired it with Daffodil Delight and Cinnamon Cider Card.
