Welcome to my Corner of the World
I love the combination of black and yellow, it is so bright and striking. Using the Color and Contour Stamp set allowed me to use Tuxedo Black ink for the outline of my flowers then Daffodil Delight to color in the petals.
- Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Basic Black Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Daffodil Delight Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Star Crossed Embossing Folder
- Layer 2: 5 1/8 x 2 Basic Black Card
- Layer 3: 5 x 1 7/8 Basic White Card
- Ink Color: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and Daffodil Delight
As the Color and Contour stamp set is photopolymer it is easy to see thru in order to line up the ‘filler’ stamp with the outline stamp – I usually stamp the outline first. I added some Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon for a little bling. Check out how I tie my ribbon with a faux knot
My greeting is from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set stamped on Basic White Card and cut the Label Me Fancy Punch then layered onto Basic Black cut with the Everyday Label Punch; a couple of Rhinestone Basic Jewels to just finish everything off.
