Welcome to my Corner of the World
We are in June, the start of the summer ~ how apt that today’s card features the Shaded Summer Stamp Set. I chose Highland Heather and Crushed Curry for my colors – so bright and cheerful.

Continue readingUsing the Celebrate with Flowers Stamp Set along with one of the greetings from the Bamboo Beauty Stamp set allowed me to create this ‘Caring Thoughts’ card which I think would be great as a get well or sympathy card or even a ‘just because’ card. The Early Expresso and Calypso Coral colors go so well together with a little touch of bling!
Continue readingA little change of subject today – I think today’s card would be perfect for ladies or gentlemen in our lives who just need a little uplifting inspiration. Pairing Cajun Craze with a little gold foil and vellum with the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set
Continue readingA change of theme for today – with Thanksgiving and Christmas on the horizon we are going to need some thank you cards. I chose to feature the Seashells 3D embossing folder, just adding a simple greeting so the details of this embossing folder do not get lost. I am thinking this would make a really good masculine thank you card…….. change out the greeting and it would be a perfect masculine birthday card as well!!
Continue readingAt the moment Stampin’ UP! is in the last 3 weeks of Sale-a-bration where you can choose exclusive free products when you place a product order of at least $50. Today’s card features the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper and by using it to create this fun fold we can see both sides of the paper!
I have paired this with the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set and coordinating Strawberry Builder Punch, however there is not strawberry in sight – just to show you how versatile this bundle is…. oh and there is a video – so read on……………………..
Continue readingThis time next week it will be Christmas Day!!! After a year of everything being turned on its head I am determined to hold onto some of my Christmas traditions, I have my trees decorated, lights on the outside of the house and a traditional (English) Christmas Lunch planned!
But sometimes I like a little ‘non-tradition’ to creep in, so I have a tree in my hall that is decorated in purples and pinks and chose to use similar colors for today’s card, Blackberry Bliss and Rococo Rose, to create this ‘lazy Z fold card’
Continue readingI am sharing the card I made for my sister-in-law’s birthday last month. She is not into frilly and ‘frou frou’ but I still wanted to make something that is feminine, so flowers and scalloped edges seemed to be the way to go.
The Flowers for Every Season DSP is exactly that – it does have pretty flowers ~ I simply chose one of the sheets then selected two of the colors within it, which turned out to be Misty Moonlight and Flirty Flamingo.
Continue readingOnce again I am thrilled to be taking part in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop, we are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!
You will have either arrived from Sue’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . This month’s theme is to use products from the 2020 Mini Catalog. So I have chosen Layered with Kindness Stamp Set with the co-ordinating Label Me Lovely Punch
A couple of weeks ago I had one of my lovely customers decide to join my team as a hobby demo – so she could take advantage of the discount when buying her goodies – I wanted to give her a personal thank you for making that decision and gave her a package of goodies along with a hand-made card!
Sale-a-bration is the perfect time to join Stampin’ UP! as a demonstrator, there are extra goodies offered as well as the usual great deal of choosing $125 worth of any goodies in the the catalogs for just $99. When I joined around 9 1/2 years ago it was one of the best decisions I have ever made (after marrying my husband, of course 🙂 ) If you scroll down the post a little further there is a link that will take you straight to more details.
I wanted to make a gift for each of my demonstrator team for Christmas. I have mentioned before that I love to make 3D items and something a little bit different. So this little box of goodies contains some essential items, pack of tissues, hand santizer, lip balm and a tin of teeny tiny mints.
It showcases the very pretty Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper along with the Layered With Kindness stamp set from the 2020 Mini Catalog.
