Flower Shop and Blendability Love Notes
Last Saturday we celebrated World Card Making Day and I hosted an Open House for my lovely customers. One of the projects was a 3 x 3 love note decorated with a flower colored using Stampin’ Up!’s Blendability Pens. Throughout the day I was demonstrating how to use them and each time I used a different color set to see the effect. By the end of the day I had a wonderful rainbow of flowers. My sweet friend Rose has been making soap and I was lucky enough to be given one of the first bars. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to make a gift box for it and that I would give the ‘recipe’ to her along with a sample so she could make some for future gift-giving. Flower Shop for Mother’s Day
Here in the US we celebrate Mother’s Day on May 11th this year. In the UK it was celebrated in March. Before I started to make cards myself I was always struggling to find cards to send back to the UK for our Mum’s, in fact one year I bought some Mother’s Day cards in May and tucked them away until the following March! It is so much easier now that I make my own cards. So this is ‘ card for this year and one of the projects for my April card class. Continue reading
