Continue readingHere is a great way to use up your decorative paper, simply cut a 2″ circle and attach it to your card front! I simply chose some of the colors out of the paper, in this case Just Jade and Basic Black and used the card and ink colors to build up the design.
Now I have to admit this card was at the bottom of the pile of designs I had for my blog and I am a little late in posting it as Just Jade has recently retired however you could swap out for Old Olive and still create this style of card.

Continue readingI love a fun-fold card – the ladies who come to my classes love to create something just a little out of the ordinary and today’s card with video is just that.
I used the goodies from the newly released Sun Prints Collection, which has a stamp set with coordinating dies, the Fern 3D embossing folder and the very pretty Sun Prints decorative paper, scroll down for more info on the supplies, which are available separately or as a whole collection – you choose!. I have also thrown in one of the new in-colors ~ Tahitian Tide which pairs very well with Night of Navy.
Continue readingWe are on the verge of wedding season and I have several folks who are planning their ‘I do’ day over the coming months. Wherever possible I like to try to pick up on the wedding colors for the cards I make and send, however some weddings choose the neutral white or ivory. Today’s card is one that would work for any wedding theme as it is ivory with a little touch of gold.
