Here is a great way to use up your decorative paper, simply cut a 2″ circle and attach it to your card front! I simply chose some of the colors out of the paper, in this case Just Jade and Basic Black and used the card and ink colors to build up the design.

Now I have to admit this card was at the bottom of the pile of designs I had for my blog and I am a little late in posting it as Just Jade has recently retired however you could swap out for Old Olive and still create this style of card.

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Basic Black Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Just Jade or Old Olive Card
• Layer 2: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card
• Ink Color: Just Jade or Old Olive and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink

Using the Biggest Wish Stamp Set I stamped the greeting first, then using the Layering Circle Dies I cut a circle from the Artfully Composed decorative paper, I chose the one closest to 2″ in diameter. After attaching it I trimmed the overlap with paper snips before running it thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder. A trio of Matte Black Dots and we have another birthday card for your stash ~ I think this would work very well for the guys in our lives, don’t you?
