Ooppss………………. I did it again!  A new baby arrived in the neighborhood and I STILL don’t have any new baby stamp sets!  So once again I have improvised and found a couple of really cute images in the Good Day stamp set that fit the occasion perfectly….. and coupled with the Balloon Bouquet punch I feel happy with the result. Colorful Seasons Calendar ~ Part 4

I have a small, but precious team of Stampin’ UP! demonstrators and each Christmas I like to make them a gift .  This year I decided to make a ‘Flip-over’ calendar for each of them using the Tolsby picture frame from IKEA.  After I finished each of the months I realized that the design could equally be used as a card front, so each can do double duty!

After I completed the calendar many of my ladies admired it – so later this year we will be doing a class to make the calendar for 2019. Continue reading

Pick a Pattern ~ First Day of School Card

September 10th 1973 was the first day of my first ever job,  44 years ago today I joined the ranks of those working for a living!  I clearly remember that day including what I wore and the first paycheck I received the following week!

Another, more recent, first being celebrated in our family is Grand-daughter #3’s first day at school tomorrow – the last few years have simply flown by – it is hard to believe she is now a ‘school girl’ and not a baby any longer.

There is the perfect piece in the Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper for a card to recognize this milestone and I could not resist using it to make and send her a card. Continue reading
