(click here to check this out) Today’s card uses the ‘mini’ with one of my favorite die sets – Stitched So Sweetly. Using the You’re a Peach Decorative Paper decided the colors on this card, this is a technique I use quite often – if Stampin’ UP! think the colors go well together…… then so do I

I have been using one of the Sale-a-bration goodies, Daffodil Afternoon Decorative Paper with the Daffodil Daydream and Happy & Heartfelt Stamp Sets. The Daffodil outline in these stamps are perfect for coloring with Stampin Blends Alcohol Markers, which is a technique I am still working on to improve, which you will see in the video 🙂

Continue readingI was a bit taken aback when I came up with today’s color combination ~ Real Red and Coastal Cabana ~ I saw some scraps that had fallen on the floor and decided I was going to go for it!! Very striking and I think it works!
As the colors are so striking I decided to keep the card itself very simple, just using a very simple fun gatefold.

I have created an easy fun fold card with nice soft colors, if you change out the greeting it would make a pretty, feminine birthday, thank you or thinking of you card.
Continue readingThe First Noel is probably my favorite Christmas Carol, the Happy Holly Days Stamp set has a greeting that simply says ‘NOEL’ so I have paired it with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder for today’s card.
This is an asymmetric card – the front is slightly shorter than the back – which allowed another of the greetings from the set to peep thru while the card is still closed.
