I have used the Touched My Heart Stamp Set so many times, I just love the lovely sweeping leaf images and the 3 greetings. I have used the sympathy stamp for today’s card but the design and colors would work well if you changed out for another.
With the exception of a couple of splashes of BumbleBee card and ribbon the rest of the card is very neutral, so you could change out for any card and ribbon you might have in your stash.

I used the Forever Fern Stamp Set with the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set for my sentiment to create a simple but heartfelt card. I love this set, having used it for different occasions, you can scroll down a little way to find some links to other cards.
I created today’s card for my brother and sister-in-laws 23rd wedding anniversary -with the Woven Heirlooms Stamp Set and the coordinating Heirloom Frames Dies and 3D Embossing Folders.
I have tried to give the card a vintage look, Roccoco Rose and Sahara Sand and the 4 texture stamps in the set has some pretty curly shapes which are perfect for vintage along with some sponging and Basic Jewel Pearls.
The Flourishing Phrases stamp set has a whole bunch of very useful greetings along with a lovely big floral stem, flower and leaf image that allows you to create some great cards.
Today I have chosen to use the with Sympathy one, however the colors and design could work very well with any of the greetings in the set. A sympathy card is not one that we particularly want to make but there is a need and this image is really quite soothing.
We all have to face the fact that there will be times we need to send a card to someone who has lost a family member or dear friend – not the type of cards we would put on top of our list but necessary all the same, I think they are some of the hardest cards to create – I guess because they are so sad but my hope is it will bring just a little comfort.
Today’s card brings together two stamp sets ~ Sheltering Tree and Kindness and Compassion which has 8 different sayings in a lovely script.
Sympathy cards are the one type of card that we would really not have to make but they are probably the ones that bring the most comfort to the recipient ~ they know someone is thinking of them at a difficult time in their life.
The Thoughts and Prayers stamp set is a one to have in your stash, not only is it suitable for bereavement it also has some lovely sentiments for get well and thinking of you…. and what can I say about the two images – one the most elegant tree and the other a lovely ‘swooshy’ flowery branch – which I have used on an anniversary card before. I made this card for my customers who have an August Birthday but I also needed a card for a friend who had recently lost a family member. Looking at the card design I realized I could make it work for both purposes. There is a little bit of stamping but it relies on the embellishments for impact.
