The Flourishing Phrases stamp set has a whole bunch of very useful greetings along with a lovely big floral stem, flower and leaf image that allows you to create some great cards.
Today I have chosen to use the with Sympathy one, however the colors and design could work very well with any of the greetings in the set. A sympathy card is not one that we particularly want to make but there is a need and this image is really quite soothing.
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Night of Navy Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 x 3 3/4 Pool Party Card
Layer 2: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 Very Vanilla Card
Greeting: 2 1/2 x 7 /8 Very Vanilla Card, layered onto 2 5/8 x 1″ Pool Party
Ink Colors: Night of Navy
Once I had stamped the main swirly stem onto the card I used my Blender Pen to take a little color from the edge of each of the flowers to spread a little color – it is not too clear in the picture unless you look really carefully….. but it is there!
The Very Vanilla layers are adhered to the Pool Party card with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive then attached to the base card with Stampin Dimensionals. A few Pearl Basic Jewels scattered to finish it off.
