There are times we need a sympathy card, not the happiest of cards to make but Stampin’ UP! has colors and images that make it easy to design them.

I used the Forever Fern Stamp Set with the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set for my sentiment to create a simple but heartfelt card. I love this set, having used it for different occasions, you can scroll down a little way to find some links to other cards.

Card base:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Mossy Meadow Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 4 3/4 x 3 3/4 Night of Navy Card

Layer 2:  4 1/2 x 3 1/2 Very Vanilla Card

Ink Colors:  Mossy Meadow

After stamping, I used some Multipurpose Liquid Glue to attached layers 1 and 2 together, then  Stampin Dimensionals to attach this to the base card, a few Basic Pearl Jewels to just finish the card.

The Peaceful Moments stamp set has a great variety of greetings so you could swap out the sympathy one for any in the set and the card would work for another occasion.
