Crumb Cake and Good Morning Magnolia

welcome back to my corner of the world.

Today’s card is a very simple design – using the beautiful Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set.¬† I try to use just one stamp set on a card and I particularly liked that this set has 3 great greetings that will fit into the punch I wanted to use as well as smaller flowers and leaves for decorating my envelope and the inside of the card.

I chose to use the ‘thinking of you’ sentiment, perfect for almost any occasion, the ‘hello’ sentiment would be perfect for a birthday and the ‘thank you’……. just speaks for itself ūüôā

Stamparatus Technique ~ Set Back Stampin’ Video Tutorial

It is a while since I shared a technique using the Stamparatus and today I have one called Set Back Stampin’ using the Petal Palette Stamp set with the coordinating Petals and More Thinlet Dies.

The Stamparatus is Stampin’ UP!’s latest tool¬† and an absolute must have for all stampers.¬† It helps you perfectly align your stamp images, stamp multiples of the same project quickly and accurately and gets complete ink coverage – ‘cos you can do a ‘do-over’ as my video today will show.

Pop of Petals with Vellum and Wink of Stella Technique

I have been using Vellum Card quite a bit in my projects recently and I wanted to show how it can be stamped on and used as an embellishment as well as a layer.¬† As so often happens when I am creating I ‘lost’ something on my workbench (of course it was right under my nose!) but I spent a few minutes searching for it and came across my ‘Wink of Stella‘ ~ now that is something that I have not used for some time.

Along with the Pop of Petals Stamp set, I used both of these beauties to create today’s card.¬† If you scroll down a little way you will also see the video showing how I used the Wink of Stella on the Vellum.

Advent Calendar – Countdown to Christmas ~ Day 7

It is December 7th already ~ one week into the Advent calendar that my friend, Elly, from the UK and I designed during her visit in October using a 24 cup mini muffin pan.  Throughout December I have been sharing one each day with a brief description of each.

You will want to open each post, as there will be a little treat behind each one! ¬†Some days it might be some virtual ‘candy’ or sweeties as we call them in the UK, other times it might be a card, 3D project or a video!

Totally over the top ~ but I love it!!!

Today’s card is totally over the top – I love it but it is a card that you would have to give in person rather than put in the post because I just don’t think it would survive!

It is one of my footling cards – I shared one a couple of years ago – footling was a favorite expression of my beloved Aunt Di ~ is just picking up some ‘items’ and playing with them until something comes together .

Birthday Bouquet from the Rose Garden

I just love this card – not entirely sure what to call the fold but it is sort of deconstructed, just held together by the Blushing Bride/Whisper White layers and 4 stampin’ dimensionals! ¬†While this is definitely¬† a feminine card, change out the colors and the flower it would be a great fold for a fella as well (note to self – need to make a masculine version to share!!!)

Sunburst Sayings and Timeless Textures + video~ Stampin’ Up!

Every so often my Stampin’ Up! grandma organizes an event for her team to join in, back in January she organized a card swap using products from the Occasions catalog.

Each person had to design and make a card for each person ~ there were 15 this time, we send them to her she sorts them and sends them back and we all get 15 different cards in return.  This is one of the lovely things about being part of the SU family!.
