A few days ago I shared a scrapbook page layout where the theme was our favorite color combination challenge – Check it out here. I recognize not everyone is into scrapbooking so I have taken some of the elements on the page to create this celebration card – very much my style using panels with a little bling from the Flower Trinkets.

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Evening Evergreen Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 Parakeet Party Card
• Layer 2: 3 /2 x 2 1/2 Basic White Card
• Layer 3: 4 1/8 x 2 1/8 Soft Succulent Card
• Layer 4: 4 x2 Splendid Day Decorative Paper
• Ink Color: Soft Succulent and Early Evergreen

My stamp set is Splendid Thoughts, once I stamped the leaves I used my Wink of Stella Liquid glitter pen to ‘smoosh’ the ink a little to give the them a little body. The greeting is cut using the Double Oval Punch, my bow uses the Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon attached with a Mini Glue Dot then a silver Flowers Trinket added for a bit of extra shine!

I love doing this style of multilayer panel cards, it allows you to use some pretty paper and some stamping without things becoming too overcrowded – what do you think?
