Ink . Stamp. Share ScrapBook Blog Hop ~ Cosy Christmas Inspiration

Welcome to the  Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop,  we are  group of international Stampin UP! demonstrators sharing our ideas and creativity with you.

You will have either arrived from  Alison’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME.  This month we have a cosy Christmas picture as our inspiration.

Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice

So when I looked at this cosy scene I saw Christmas stockings on the mantle shelf and poinsettias so those are the elements I took for my page. {oh and the glitter and sparkle, but that goes without saying 🙂 }

I used Whisper White Card for my base, the poinsettia and the ‘Merry Christmas’ panel uses Poppy Parade Card, my ink colors are Poppy Parade and Just Jade.

I stamped my ‘christmas stockings’ in Early Expresso ink, using the Tag Buffet Stamp Set; 4 on white card and 4 on the poinsettia paper in the ‘Flower for All Seasons’ Designer series paper pack. Then I fussy cut the cuff, toe and heal from two of each then used a little Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to attach them, then a few Mini Glue Dots to attach and some of the gold rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels – in an attempt to make them look as though they are attached to the mantleshelf!

My poinsettia is cut with the Poinsettia Dies, I colored up the edges with a Stampin Sponge and Poppy Parade ink, then added some Clear Wink of Stella to the edges. 5 more of the gold rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are added to the center to finish off

And if you are not into scrapbook pages I think both of these elements would be perfect for a Christmas card 🙂
