Butterfly Basics Birthday Card

A birthday card for  a dear friend, whose favorite colors are pink and purple.  Pink Pirouette and Wisteria Wonder fill the bill perfectly.

This card also contains a little watercoloring ~ I have found myself reaching for the blender pens on a number of projects recently because they produce such a lovely soft coloring.

This inside used the Bordering Blooms, Feel Goods and Six-Sided Sampler Stamp sets from Stampin” Up!  ( Well when it is a card for a very dear friend you have to push the boat out a little, don’t you!)

The inside aperture and outside decorative pieces were cut with the Ovals Collection Framelits, and the ‘my friend’ cut with the Washi Label punch.  (follow this link to a video I made to explain how this was done)

Dazzling Diamond Glimmer paper butterflies (cut with the Bitty Butterfly Punch) and Wisteria Wonder seam binding completed the card.

Here are the main supplies used:

Happy StamMy Project 4-001ping 🙂
