Earlier this week I shared a couple of cards with the two-step stampin’ technique using the ‘Bunch of Blossoms’ stamp set. I have a couple of cards today that uses the same stamp set using ‘filler’ stamps to give a more subtle ‘watercolor’ effect, As the stamp set is a photopolymer it is very easy to line up each of the layers – in fact you could even do three layers! The set also has 5 beautiful sentiments in such a pretty font.
Card Base: 8 1/2 x 1/2 Tip Top Taupe ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 x 3 3/4 Very Vanilla Card
Inspired by Kim Williams this is a fond farewell to both the Tip Top Taupe card and beautiful ‘stripy’ ribbon. The ink colors are Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach for the flowers and Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive for the leaves.
Card Base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/4 Rose Red Card ~ Scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 x 3 3/4 Whisper White Card run thru the Big Shot with the Brick Wall embossing folder
Layer 3: 4 1/4 x 3 Rose Red Card
Layer 4: 4 1/8 x 2 7/8 Whisper White Card
The ink color for the flower is Rose Red, the first image is ‘stamped off’ before being put on the card. The second image is stamped using full strength ink. Again I used Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive for the leaves.
A sprinkling of pearls finished the card off just nicely.
