More Bunch of Blossoms ~ Stampin’ Up! products

Earlier this week I shared a couple of cards with the two-step stampin’ technique using the  ‘Bunch of Blossoms’ stamp set.  I have a couple of cards today that uses the same stamp set using  ‘filler’ stamps to give a more subtle ‘watercolor’ effect,  As the stamp set is a photopolymer it is very easy to line up each of the layers – in fact you could even do three layers!  The set also has 5 beautiful sentiments in such a pretty font.  Continue reading

Two-step stampin’ is a really great technique and there are a number of stamp sets in the SU catalog that have been designed especially for this.  ‘Bunch of Blossoms’ is one of them.   You can use the outline stamp then a ‘filler’ one to give a crisp image or use both ‘filler’ stamps to give a more subtle ‘watercolor’ effect,  As the stamp set is a photopolymer it is very easy to line up each of the layers – in fact you could even do three layers!  The set also has 5 beautiful sentiments in such a pretty font.  I have two examples to share today. World Card Making Day 2016

In a sea of junk mail and bills, a card is a simple thing that really stands out to the person who receives it. Sending a card is a small gesture that shows just how much you care about that special someone in your life.

Today, October 1st, is  World Card Making Day , celebrate by making and sending a handmade card to someone who could use a little recognition, love, or just a boost (which is anyone, really!).
