Sweet Soiree Embellishments # 3

Just cannot keep my hands of this beautiful embellishment kit from the 2018 Occasions Catalog!  This time I made a very pretty, gentle card using the vellum, laser-cut pieces along with the Washi Tape from the Embellishment Kit.

This card also serves as a fond farewell to the ‘soon-to-be-retiring Marina Mist ink and paper  as well as the 1/8 silver ribbon.

I can see this as an anniversary , graduation as well as a birthday card.

Once again, I have also used the Perennial Birthday Stamp Set and the Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Extra Thick Whisper White ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 4 x 3 Sweet Soiree DSP

Layer 2: 4 x 1/2 Silver Foil Card

Ink color: Marina Mist

I adhered some of the washi tape to the top edge of the strip of Silver Foil card, carefully tucking the ends behind the foil to prevent if from unraveling.

The vellum leaves and berry pieces were attached with glue dots and the ‘flower’ piece with a Stampin Dimensional.  A silver ribbon bow and scattered rhinestones and we are done……. and I love it!

Here is the first in this series
